Our story begins in 1974 in Memphis, Tennessee, when Sam Ross opened his very first hair salon business. Two years later in 1976, we began franchising and marketing a “fixed fee” system and “no appointment necessary” concept to entrepreneurs across the country. Since then, we’ve built an organization of over 1300 salons that offers brand awareness , experience, and leadership.

Our success is built on empowering the owners of our full service hair salons. We offer solid, proven systems which are continuously refined to keep us ahead of the competition. Our brand’s strength is reinforced by a network of over 700 salon owners and over 13,000 experienced stylists who deliver fantastic service each and every day.
